Since my wife and I live in Los Angeles, we decided to drop by the Sherman Oaks Center for Enriched Studies (SOCES) middle school production of My Son Pinocchio. With a cast of thousands (give or take), the show was a blast! Congratulations to the entire group of enthusiastic drama students (and teachers and parents).

Perfecting the Show
One of the amazing things about the Disney/MTI partnership with itheatrics is the lengths they will go to perfect the junior version of their shows. Not only do they create educational materials, music tracks, and director’s guides, but they also do numerous test runs of the show to make sure it is hitting the audience in just the right way.
My Son Pinocchio Jr. Roll-Out Continues!
The junior version of My Son Pinocchio opens tonight at the Taft Theater in Cincinnati, OH! As Disney/MTI continues to roll out the new shorter, more kid-focused version of the show, hopefully we will get to see more fantastic interviews with budding stars like the following —
